BALIKBAYAN BOX TERMS AND CONDITIONS PROHIBITED ITEM: All illegal and prohibited drugs/substances & paraphernalia, firearms including airsoft gun, explosives, ammunition, lithium batteries, pornographic materials, imitation jewelry, fake bags, cash, automobile, motorcycle, parts and accessories, sharp or pointed objects, used clothes for resale(ukay-ukay), heavy ceramic tiles shall not be allowed for shipment.

CONTENTS: Balikbayan boxes should only contain personal & household effects only. Items of commercial quantity or for barter, sale or hire do not qualify for the duty and tax-free exemption via balikbayan boxes. The shipper must completely declare and itemize all items packed inside the balikbayan box. Any misleading and undeclare items will be not entertained by Gen-Ex in case of a loss claim.

FRAGILE ITEMS: We strongly recommend that the fragile/breakable items like LCD TV's refrigerators, oven//toaster, microwave, washing machine, cabinets, bed frames, table & chairs MUST BE INSURED  and PROFESSIONALY PACKED BY GEN-EX authorized personnel only. Gen-Ex Cargo is not liable for any damages incurred during transport for NON-INSURED items.

BULKY & OVERSIZED BOX: Gen-Ex Cargo will not entertain loss claim for oversized/bulky box damaged during transport. We strongly discourage customers from making their box bulky because it compromises the integrity and weight limit of the box.

UNPAID BOXES: All unpaid boxes will be given a 7-day free storage /grace period. We will apply penalty charges of HKD2.00/day after the grace period. If left unpaid after 30 days, we shall reserve our right to dispose the box to recover our cost without further notice.

LIMITED LIABILITY AGAINST TOTAL LOSS: Gen-Ex cargo's liability is limited to: USD200 for Super Jumbo and Jumbo boxes, USD150 for Regular box, USD100 for Half box and USD50 for Baby box in case of TOTAL LOSS.
